At ASML, women are included, valued and heard. The semiconductor industry presents an abundance of opportunities for women to lead with creative new ideas.
At ASML, we want you to be yourself – not anyone else! Our goal is to approach each and every employee as an individual with unique knowledge, experience and potential for growth.
‘Women’ network
In Silicon Valley, Wilton (Connecticut) and across the US at customer support sites, ASML’s Women employee network organizes trainings and activities and engages in recruitment and local community outreach activities to support professional development, leadership opportunities, work–life balance, and a social community of women and allies at ASML.
‘WAVES’ network
In San Diego, the WAVES (Women Achieving Vocational Excellence & Success) employee network promotes professional development, networking, and a sense of community for women and allies. WAVES does this through hosting external speakers and trainings, and through leading a mentorship program and book club.
ASML supports the hiring and promotion of women in technology through a number of goals. We increased our female recruitment inflow from 21% in 2021 to 27% in 2023, and our percentage of women in senior management is up from 8.4% in 2021 to 11% in 2023.
We believe that one key element to hiring more women and people from other underrepresented groups is to promote STEM education within the future talent pool. We support projects through our community engagement education efforts, where we share our enthusiasm for science and technology with the younger generation, especially young girls.
