If yes, then a job as Customer Support Project Engineer within ASML Business Line Mature Products & Services may be the right challenge for you! 

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

As a CS Project Engineer you will have various responsibilities, such as:

  • Installment of equipment at customer’s locations, including new equipment, upgrades and system relocations on PAS platform. 
  • Evaluation and diagnosis of problems and making appropriate repairs. Working with co-workers, customers, and offering technical support in isolating and solving problems. 
  • Monitoring, maintaining and optimizing equipment on a daily basis to enhance functionality and prevent problems. 
  • Advise users of appropriate actions to correct malfunctions in a timely manner. 
  • Train customers in use and routine maintenance of equipment, also answer customer questions and assist customers in a professional manner. 
  • Perform administrative and coordination duties which include procedures such as changes, pass-downs, work orders, field service, system problem, and monthly reports. 
  • Independently and accurately prepare written technical reports. 
  • Provide appropriate support and assistance to less experienced ASML personnel as necessary. 

Education and experience

  • You possess either a vocational degree in Mechanical Engineering (MBO Level 4/ MTS) or a higher vocational degree (HBO) specialized in precision engineering (e.g. automotive engineering, aviation technology, mechatronics engineering).
  • Other than a technical education, issue solving/ troubleshooting or maintenance experience in Automotive/ Mechatronics or Mechanical/ Industrial equipment is preferable.
