Introduction to the job
This position manages DUV business development for customers in Japan, which develops the engagement strategy and manages the alignment of customer technical requirements with the DUV BL. Responsible for Roadmap Alignment (between customer and ASML) from DUV business, and development of customer insight for ASML DUV business line product development. This activity is primarily associated with demos, onsite evaluations, our new product introductions (NPI) in many cases in direct competition with other suppliers.
Role and responsibilities
- Develop DUV plan and establish customer adoption strategies for DUV business in Japan.
- Drive product value proof and sales process until the first Purchase Orders (POs) on schedule
- Translate customer technical requirements into lithography product requirements
- Manage customers' product evaluations such like success criterion alignment, SoW agreements.
Education and experience
- Bachelors and above in relevant fields including physics, chemistry, engineering
- Experience in Semiconductor industry especially process technology, customer engagement and account management.

- Proven organizational skills to align multiple stakeholders

- Ability to explain complex technical matters in simple terms.
- Ability to escalate and effectively communicate to upper management, including Executive Committee (Executive Team) with the insight of impact on business and options for solutions.
- Perspective: Can zoom in and out from details to bigger picture (in size and time), while maintaining global perspective.
- Ability to work independently; self-motivated.
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic work environment

Other information
- Work location will be in Tokyo office
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
