Would you enjoy working on supply chain area and drive the end-to-end reverse supply chain process to enable re-use of materials? Do you want to drive the Supply Chain to next level in efficiency by improving and automating our operational processes?
Then we have an excellent opportunity for you to grow in the ASML Re-use Reverse Supply Chain Engineering team. You will have the opportunity to utilize data-driven methods and enhance process efficiencies in one of the world’s most complex supply chains. The Reverse Supply Chain Engineering team is responsible for steering the reverse supply chain operational processes. This includes developing worklists, dashboarding and creating smart automation solutions. Next to that, we flag process bottlenecks, create root cause analyses and drive projects with several departments to optimize reverse inventory in a sustainable and cost-efficient way.
Role and responsibilities
As Reverse supply chain engineer you will focus on increasing efficiency of ASML’s reverse supply chain by improving processes and automation. You will collaborate with our operational teams to flag process gaps and define ways how to translate manual actions towards standardized and automated solutions. You will create insights that enable optimal execution of the reverse supply chain processes and create KPI reporting of reverse inventory. Based on analytical insights, you will drive the organization on various opportunities to reduce cycle times of reverse processes. You will be responsible for analyzing supply chain data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
The key job responsibilities are:
Create tooling (e.g. Worklists) and reporting (e.g. KPI) to steer the reverse supply chain processes
Ensure data availability to support execution of operational processes
Analyze reverse inventory data to support decision-making
Identify and resolve reverse supply chain bottlenecks
Participate in/drive process improvements
Use data-driven reports and visuals to convince stakeholders to take action
Education and experience
Relevant Master degree in the fields of Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management or Data Analytics. For example: Operations Management & Logistics, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering.
3+ years of relevant working experience in supply chain or inventory management
Skilled with Excel, VBA and Python
Experience with Spotfire is a pre
Experience with working with large data sets
Strong in stakeholder management and continuous improvement projects
Familiar with process flow mapping and bottleneck identification

The ASML Re-use Reverse Supply Chain Engineering team is part of the Reuse & Repair (R&R) sector. The team consists of 5 experienced and highly motivated supply chain engineers with different focus areas in the reverse supply chain. R&R is responsible for defining and operationalizing the sustainability strategy for current and new ASML products and processes globally. We manage challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts from our customers or factories towards our suppliers to enable re-use.
