Then we might have an exciting opportunity within D&E MMS (Mechatronics and Measurement Systems) Cluster in the department of Optics and Dynamics EUV!

 

Within D&E MMS Optics and Dynamics EUV we are in transition towards ADM (ASML Development Model) way of working by setting up a multi-disciplinary Reticle Masking train. We are looking for a Release train Engineer (RTE) that will drive the implementation of the organizational change and is responsible for guiding and driving the train.

At this moment the group is already working in an agile environment, while some other groups are still working in the “classical” project organization. The ambition is to in the course of 2024 merge all of the above project in one dedicated EUV reticle masking train working according ADM. This new train will be a multi competence single Function Cluster train of approximately 100 FTE large. It will contain all engineering disciplines and industrialization competences to design all new and maintain existing EUV Recital Masking.

 

As RTE you guide and are responsible for the efficient operation of the Train. Together with the CPO are the operational management to build and maintain a competent train that develops the current and next generation Recital Masking within our EUV products.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Optimize value flow and solve impediments to meet PI objectives.

  • Provide transparency on Train performance and stakeholder satisfaction

  • Foster lean and agile mindset and ASML values across the Train.

  • Support and coach Train teams to enhance performance, share improvement practices.

  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to reach long term capacity and competency planning.

  • Develop a vision for a high performing Train, encouraging member collaboration.

  • Connect with CPO and Architect for progress alignment.

Education and Experience

  • Masters or PhD in Mechatronics or similar

  • Knowledge and experience of hardware trains

  • Experience with Hardware/mechatronic development

We’re looking for an enabler, a professional who has a strong leadership mentality and has a strong background in people management or similar roles. Having acted in agile environments is key for success.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
