Introduction to the job
The Corporate Real Estate Organization is responsible for the transfer of knowledge and qualification of the ASML infrastructure, installation and buildings. All assets are managed through a life cycle management model.
The Industrial Portfolio Manager reports to the Head of Global Portfolio Management within the Real Estate Development & Strategy department. The purpose of this department is to provide adaptable, attractive and fit-for-purpose real estate to ensure the growth of ASML, by developing and executing Industrial and Real Estate strategies and Master Plans, realizing Campus Developments and performing the role as principal for projects ensuing from these master plans.
Role and responsibilities
The main tasks of the Industrial Portfolio Manager are the Global RE masterplans, the RE Strategy for our industrial locations (Veldhoven, Berlin, San Diego, San Jose, Wilton, Taipei, Tainan, Korea and China) and Global Greenfield Projects.
In addition to that, your role includes the following:
Develop and implement ASML’s Global Industrial RE Strategy.
Align demand / requests from sectors, business lines and operations.
Translate ASML changing business needs into CRE industrial masterplans and ensure alignment with the Real Estate infrastructure and ASML’s roadmap activities.
Allocate/prioritize worldwide CAPEX budget (resulting from industrial masterplans) including global integrated planning.
Principal of Global Real Estate projects (accountable for budget, planning and scope).
Education and experience
Relevant bachelor and/or master degree.
Min 10 years of relevant work experience; large construction/renovation projects in international high tech production (preferred cleanroom) environments.
Good relational skills, capable of handling cultural and political barriers.
Ability to work and network ranging from senior management to technical professionals to construction workers.
General knowledge of relevant quality standards and legislation (e.g. EN/ISO, sustainability, ‘Bouwbesluit’, etc.).
Fluent verbally and in writing in English and Dutch.
Understands the implications of different (technical) choices and is able to direct to the best solution.
