Covers all related ASML Factories (supporting) activities to assemble and test qualified modules and submodules into a complete system, including the optical fabrication processes.
Works independently, based on procedures and practices and is subject to managerial control and review of end results, escalates to next level if out of scope. Is a sparring partner for GL on process, projects and technical topics.
Develops and maintains a network across several functional areas to use for problem resolution related to a specific module.
Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in technical domain (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics)
Solid experience in a technical production or equivalent working and thinking level.
Responsibilities
Solutioning / 2nd line support
Contributes to the solution of faults and takes the necessary initiatives and practical decisions to ensure zero repeat.
Solves technical and process problems within own focus areas structurally (several modules). Analyses problems of products and processes.
New Product Introduction
Manages New Product Introduction by applying knowledge in product or process development projects; foresees production problems in the design phase and improves the manufacturability of the product.
Is actively involved in the release for volume takeover from D&E to Manufacturing.
Engineering
Collects and evaluates data and contributes to or produces partial designs.
Understands engineering problems related to own tasks and proposes different solutions to choose from, in an environment with some technical uncertainties. Works independently on diagnostics and maintenance.
Maintenance
Maintains, validates, provides up-to-date procedures, processes (work preparation) and blueprints/sequences for Factory execution.
Continuous Improvement
Analyzes the production process, points out structural problems and bottlenecks, work out suggestions for improvements and initiates their implementation.
Continuously adapt, optimize operating instructions, process flow charts, routings, process parameters and indicators.
Drive assigned process improvement projects to in-time and successful delivery.
Identifies missing processes / procedures (in/outside the factory) and creates them.
Team management / Coaching
Coaches (senior) operators, educates less experienced colleagues on content of work (including processes) and answering questions.
Stakeholder Management
Represents manufacturing in D&E/PGP, ensuring an efficient NPI process.
Communication at work center level with own module TS,CS,ME,SCE engineers.
Own level and 2 levels higher with (non) Factory departments (engineers, PL).
