IT End User Services - Hardware & Software Support

Your working environment

In your "Supporting functions" role you might not come into direct contact with our products, but with your expertise you will contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of our company. Only with colleagues from our structured, efficient and supportive departments, such as HR, Accounting, Controlling, IT and Communications, will it be possible for us to grow beyond ourselves and achieve our targets as a company.

Your tasks

  • Recording all incoming support requests, preparing and processing / resolving the requests and documenting them in the ticket system for 2nd / 3rd level support 
  • Simple administration of our Active Directory (password resetting, unlocking users, setting default permissions, moving clients into OU groups)
  • Installing and configuring client operating systems and software
  • Analyzing, troubleshooting and ensuring that defective components in the client and machine sectors are disposed of correctly 
  • Integrating clients, machines and peripheral devices in the network under clean room conditions
  • Installing IT workstation equipment and its peripherals (desktops, notebooks, printers, scanners, telephones, mobile devices, etc.)
  • Configuring / troubleshooting in meeting rooms

Your qualifications

  • Trained in the IT system electronics, IT specialist / system integration sectors or comparable training
  • You have at least 4 years of professional experience from working in the described areas of responsibility 
  • Very good hardware knowledge as well as very good, broad-ranging knowledge of Windows
  • Good knowledge of software tools in the client-server environment, especially Microsoft software products
  • Very good command of German and English
