Introduction to the job

Cymer Manufacturing Line Manager performs that manage the field technicians related production line and resource in line with demand plan in one of the multiple manufacturing line and report to production general manager.

This role is required technician managing skill and collaboration with support group such as Engineering, planning, warehouse and management team.

Role and responsibilities

- Daily Gemba or production meeting with employees to measure performance to KPIs and gain feedback from team on resources needed and continuous improvement ideas.

- Following the all aspects of factory field operations including safety, people training, quality, equipment efficiency and demand plan.

 - Drives and models a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and commitment to high quality.                                

 - Responsible for providing leadership and motivation to people, functions, and processes, as well as general production floor control.

 - Control the production schedules based on demand requirements.

 - Develops planning of human capacity, equipment capacity, and materials supply.

 - Supports the line manager in line with department goals, including on-time deliveries, lead time, quality, and cost objectives; and reports standard metrics and routine status.

 - Creating data metrics related KPIs and productivities and monitoring the floor performance.

 - Closely communicate with Engineers to solve the process and quality issue related production wise.

- Play a role as a go-between for the line manager and technicians.

- Management of resources (technicians).

- Advise technical support and propose the guide line to field technicians.

Education / Experience

-High School diploma or Associate degree in relevant field

- Being experienced more than 10 years in mechanical assemble business.

- Having an experience of Team leading or management of resources.

- Coordinate & communicate with peer groups such as planner, Engineering, facility, EHS and other teams.

- Eligible for English writing and communication.
 

Personal Skills

To thrive in this job, you’ll need the following skills:

- Familiarity with assembly and electric test equipment.

- Understanding operation work flow and leading experience.

- Support to field technicians as technical guide or direction for troubleshooting.

- Commitment to work safely in all aspects of the position

- Able to understand and read working instructions and diagrams

Main Work location: 평택 (ASML Cymer Korea)

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
