Introduction to the job

Recruit, mentor and develop the team and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment The single-point-of-contact, facilitating competence support as well as all necessary reviews and approvals related to hand-over & acceptance of projects in the TW/SG/My region.
  • The point of contact for a project (manager), representing C&Q team, hence facilitating competence support as well as all necessary reviews and approvals related to stage gate approvals, hand-over & acceptance in TW/S/MY.
  • Represent the Functional  Owner's in TW/SG/MY region when approving project initiation and subsequent BGP stage gates.
  • Ensure review by competence engineer (functional owner) and collect responses for feedback to the project manager.
  • Responsible to secure guarantee of supply regarding utilities by forecasting average and peak demand, flagging constraints in supply and advising on capability.
  • Utility matrix management. Coordinate the establishment of a regional utility master plan and related governance model. You involve competence engineers and others if needed to take ownership, maintain the plan, take appropriate actions.
  • Responsible to perform risk assessments and audits within the regional CRE domain and follow up to ensure that adequate mitigation actions are taken. you coordinate communication with the insurance company to facilitate regular inspections, project reviews, and follow-up on actions.
  • Advising businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Allocating and managing space between cleanrooms Advise on maintenance, repair and refurbishment techniques to minimize future maintenance risk, contributing to the creation of method statements
  • Can challenge the business and develop new delivery models Ensure that all technical specifications, guidelines, standards and legislation (from EDG, pipe specs and design guidelines) are met in designs and in the commissioning to CRE O&M, together with clear acceptance report and handover documents .
  • Responsible for maintaining the technical and qualitative standards and requirements by assessing and authorizing designs and constructions.
  • Review designs and test documents and give advice to project managers how to meet technical and qualitative requirements by generating the technical solution (derived from relevant expertise parties, competence manager or suppliers.)
  • Define and mange procedures for quality inspections during design, construction and commissioning. Assess functionality and effectiveness or installations, assets and systems (together with expert colleagues or suppliers) and manage acceptance and commissioning as part of the building generation process (stage gate reviews)
  • Drive structure issue management and compliance issues. If applicable conduct feasibility studies and/or root cause analysis and derive solutions from experts in the competence center or expertise from suppliers (by procuring consultancy support) to drive the technical solution together with the project manager.
  • Identify opportunities for process, system and technical improvements and drive performance improvements and opportunities together with competence managers and suppliers.
  • Analyze processes and procedures and propose improvements and/or provide guidance and advice from professional expertise to professionalize methods, procedures and approaches.
  • Cooperate with the supply chain, data, delivery & supply management to establish an effective process for commissioning & acceptance, both representing the competence managers as well as the maintenance organization that is responsible for taking assets into service.
  • Collaborate and build partnership with the projects team, and other teams of CRE and/or business teams to continuously improve the effectiveness of commissioning and acceptance contributing to maximizing performance, availability and uptime.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor / Master degree in Engineering, Facility Management, Business Administration, Organizational Studies or similar.

  • Factory Cleanroom design experience

  • HVAC competence is plus

Skills

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in an international high tech industrial environment

  • At least 3 years of managerial experience

The Regional CRE team of Taiwan works with several key suppliers for its hard services and soft services. The key suppliers manage a range of the operational and tactical services. The Regional CRE team acts as (strategic) demand organization towards the expertise parties by providing the (output)specifications and to ensure that delivered solutions are in compliance with specifications, performance targets and ASML conditions.
