Scope of the role

* Manages multiple projects and initiatives on continuously improvement

* Differences between projects:

- increasing timelines

- more impact

- more resources

- different departments involved (across sector) or outside ASML (involvement of suppliers and/or customers)

* Leads one team or multiple machine teams of employees of limited size in a relatively complex process

* Is primarily accountable for output results

Team structure & Key interfaces

* Internal: everybody of the same level within M&L, Planning, Production Engineering, etc.), other sectors like D&E (from Developers, Project Lead to Product

Cluster Manager (PCM) level), Customer Support, Sourcing, ASML Veldhoven up to a Manager level, Industrial Engineering, HR and Sourcing

* External: customer contacts Lab- Fab split LAB

Functional competencies and skills

* Strives for continuous improvement of EHS, quality and excellent performance

* Is able to create a planning that is achievable, realistic and understandable

* Gathers information to determine the urgency and importance, is able to plan necessary activities accordingly

* Sets and realizes effective and efficient targets and priorities, as agreed with internal or external clients, consistent and on time within the group context

* Defines important milestones and specifies results

* Anticipates proactively on changes in the internal and external environment and structures own (and others) activities to minimize delays and planning issues and is able to define alternatives to deliver on time

* Proposes/makes improvements to work processes

* Is able to deliver product within spec

* Performs the required administrative tasks after every module (log, serial number, DN/MN, to do lists, FCO List, Machine hours, tools)

* Has a structured/neat work environment (following the clean room/pilot guidelines)

* Is aware of the requirements for volume production and service, to enable working without any problems after R4V

* Increases product/system/process knowledge in order to efficiently produce and adequately diagnose achieved results and occurring problems

* Is willing to learn

* Manages time effectively and efficient to prevent limitations regarding outputs of (own) machine

* Support Volume Production and Service (New Product Introduction) with the introduction of new (sub)systems

Leadership and behavioral competencies and skills

* Reviews/judges own work and the work of others and proposes/creates opportunities to improve the quality

* Is able to effectively work together in (multidisciplinary) groups and the ability to adjust to working in other groups

* Actively participates in activities focused on communication, corporation and goal orientation within the group

* Supervise that everyone (DEV/PE/TS/GH/SIE/CS) working on the system followed the above rules
